Site director’s Bio : Antara Basu

Antara received her Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from University of South Florida, and has since been working in IT for the last 15 years. Inclined towards Math, Science & performing arts from a young age, she taught kids as well as undergraduate students. She is mom to a 8 year old girl who inspired her to get more deeply involved in the school network volunteering as room parent, multicultural night coordinator and dance choreographer. She comes from a family that deeply values education, her mom being a school teacher for more than 20 years. She is also a trained dancer/performer and has worked extensively with kids in putting up several stage shows.
