Safety & Security
Learning and activities can always be fun, but the safety and security of students participating in our program are extremely important to us, whether it’s our preschool or after-school kids. We know that teachers spend their time enriching our children and the familiar environment of their classroom, so it’s even more important to have confidence in their safety as well.
Parents entrust Tulip Kids to care for and protect their children when they are attending a Tulip campus.
We have strict policies in place that must be followed in order to protect the children in our care. We make every effort for teachers in each classroom to have current First Aid and CPR certification and be familiar with proper medical emergency procedures. Each center strives to provide a safe environment by conducting safety audits, monthly emergency storm/fire drills, and teaching children safety rules. If a child does experience an injury, an accident report will be completed by the staff and signed by the parent/guardian. In spite of our efforts, an emergency may arise. For this reason, Tulip requires that parents/guardians complete emergency contact information and sign a release for emergency medical treatment.
