Site Director's Bio
I have an extensive background in education, my educational journey began in 1998, with a specialization in Child Development leading to a Director position in 2019, earned through coursework at De Anza College.
I initially volunteered and eventually secured a position, demonstrating my dedication and passion for working with children. I held various roles, including teaching preschool classes with 3-year-olds, up to Junior Kindergarten 5 year old children. I have also taken on leadership responsibilities during the summer, serving as a preschool science teacher and a 1st/2nd-grade combo class.
My dedication to the school and its community is a privilege of both teaching and now leading the school as the director of the infant, preschool and supervising after-school care programs. I view this current role as the realization of my dream job, emphasizing the importance of creating a nurturing environment where children feel cared for and supported in their academic and spiritual growth.
With a strong belief in the power of faith and love, I incorporate my education philosophy into my work, emphasizing the importance of building a solid foundation for children’s academic success while instilling values of care and faith. My favorite Bible verse, “Faith, it does not make things easy it makes them possible” (Luke 1:37), reflects my commitment to guiding children through challenges and empowering them to achieve their potential.
Beyond my professional life, I have various hobbies such as baking cakes, party planning, biking, shopping, and spending quality time with my family through backyard barbecues.
I look forward to collaborating with staff, and families at Tulip Kids to create a supportive learning environment where children can thrive and make lasting memories.
