    Evangeline Acuna Ponce is a teacher at heart. Her passion in teaching as well as management position experienced captured the hearts of Tulip’s Administration team.
    Ms. Gee as she was fondly call by all, graduated in her native land, Philippines with Bachelor of Arts degree, major in English, minor in History. She continues her loves in learning until she finished her BSE, major in Education. She earned her MA in Education credentials in the country where she was born.
    Ms. Vangie, as other call her was a consistent honor student during her Kindergarten, High school and College days. In her country before stepping in American soil, Ms. Ponce was a secondary school teacher. Her 10 yrs. experienced as high school mentor helped her adapts well to younger children in the field of teaching career in this land of opportunity. Her continuing education was pursuing to some learning institutions in America. To named few, De Anza/Foothill College/ San Jose State University and UC Davis extension. These schools brought her lots of knowledge in the field of Child Development where most of the ECE units was earned. These credentials help her hired to be an Infant/Preschool/Pre-K mentors and holds management position in the Silicon Valley. Her beliefs with God’s guidance, her loves in teaching didn’t stop into the school where she works. This petite lady loves attending seminars/trainings/conferences around USA. that helps her updates in teaching and lead different Childcare Center as Assistant Director and Director.
    Being the youngest child in her family, she was nurtured with love by her grandma that’s why as we can see her personality, she loves all the people around her especially the children. Her compassionate attitude attracts humans to love her back. Smile was always on her face as well as laughter’s that filled Tulip’s surroundings. She was a very happy person. A very organized creatures where she motivates most of her colleagues to followed orderliness/cleanliness in the school.
    What else should I say, with her experiences, generosity and leadership for almost 4 years of stay at TKA, where her mission philosophy to meet the needs and services of child, parents and teachers and be with them as her own family. Now, our energetic Willow Site Director.

    Sheela Venkatachalam

    Sheela Venkatachalam has started her Administrative Assistant role with Tulip since September 2018, after being a property manager for a while in the bay area. She grew up from the Southern part of India where she did her schooling and graduated as a Computer Science Engineer. She worked as a financial advisor at Canara bank for 2 years in India after graduating with honors. Year 2012, she steps down her feet in San Jose, CA. USA. Right from her school days as an ambitious, outgoing individual she is more interested in organizing various events, conducting lot of camps, numerous symposiums and conferences since she enjoys interacting with people. This petite, smart lady finds enjoyment in helping people and organizations become successful. She enjoys and nurtures with children and finds true bliss in their smile while spending time with them. Due to her active listening skills, love toward children made her job perfect at Tulip.

    Pushpalatha Venna - Lead Teacher

    Hi! My name is Pushpa Venna. I am the Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher and Assistant Director at Tulip Kids Academy. I am happy to say that I have been working with tulip from 2013, prior to that I worked in different schools as a preschool teacher. Recently, I got my site supervisor certification in De Anza College. I have been in the Early Child Education field for over 15 years now. I currently hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Math, as well as a Montessori Specialized Education certificate and more than 46 ECE units. I enjoy working with children because of their hugs, giggles and smiles. My biggest enjoyment is helping them learn something new every day, which will last a life time.

    Jayshri Patil

    My name is Jayshri Patil. I have 9 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. I am an Infant/ Toddler teacher at Tulip kids Academy, a certified Infant /Toddler Educator. I’ve taught classes with engaging learning activities to 12 students between 3-4 years of age. I currently hold a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education and have completed 45 units in child Development successfully. I’ve done with my Supervision and Administration of Child Development Programs (leadership skills) and Management course. I enjoy working with children and building on their strengths and interests. I love teaching because kids are very loving and curious to learn new things. I love being a part of their learning, growth and development. I treat all families with honor and respect. I value diversity of cultures, languages, customs, religion and education.

    Dana Duong

    My name is Dana Duong. A credentialed Early Child Educator. Most of my units was taken in De Anza College where I should say I gained knowledge in educating children. I finished it with flying colors of grades. I was so inspired while taking most of its co’z I learned a lot. It helped me apply it now at Tulip Kids academy as one of Infant teacher.
    I have been working with child care setting for more than 5 years and still learning., as what the saying goes” Experienced is the best Teacher!”
    My passion with the young children since then is watching them to grow. I have fun dealing with them too. Sometimes, I struggle with their moods but I do understand them. I believe in early learning because success will be achieved later. My future goal is to help a positive guidance so they will become independent as they grow.

    Amiben Patel

    Hi! My name is Amiben Patel. Yours truly, graduated with Bachelor of Commerce, major in Accounting to the placed I was born, India. In there, I worked in a company, where I have been assigned in accounting department. It was fun dealing with numbers back home but I, along with my family was given an opportunity be landed in USA.
    My first work in here was a caregiver. I have to deal with the elderly. Later, my passion goes on with kids so I apply at my sister-in laws family day care-The Nana Day Care in Santa Clara. I was her assistant teacher there. I enjoyed working there for 5 years where I learned a lot in nurturing kids as well as my own nephew and nieces enrolled in the program. Two years ago, I was hired here at Tulip by the owner and my assigned room was in Infant ‘though until now I’m an assistant teacher there I gained experienced which I treasures a lot.
    I have a dream of fulfilling to be a credentialed teacher someday. I will be enrolling this winter class in De Anza College together with my colleague. Just to let you know too, I love working here in tulip, where all are my friends.

    Lubna Ahmed - Lead Teacher

    I’m Lubna Ahmed, the lead teacher at two’s classroom here in Tulip. I have been in the Early Child Education for over 25years. I graduated with Bachelor degree in Economics in my native land, Pakistan.
    I have earned my credentialed, 31 units of ECE here in USA. I was granted Teacher’s permit by the teacher’s credentialing in Sacramento., CA. I truly enjoy working with children and building quality education which is what I strive to deliver. I’m a licensed family day care provider too in my humble house in San Jose, CA., but I preferred doing teaching here in Tulip Kids Academy

    Jenny Freeman

    My name is Jenny Freeman. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. I started my career in child care setting when I was 20 years. I have been in the field of Early Childhood Education for 26 years and enjoyed being a Two’s teacher at TKA.
    I enjoyed working with children because I love giving back to the community, and leading children in the right direction in their development to becoming wonderful citizens. I also find it amazing to be able to learn through the eyes of a young child. I have grown in my leadership and classroom management skills over these many years of teaching young children. I love helping them learn through teaching new songs and movement rhymes. I also enjoy helping them to learn independence. I am glad to be a part of this wonderful family of teacher’s students and parents.

    Komal Sharma

    I’m Komal Sharma an incredibly compassionate teacher of two’s in Tulip, with a very kind and engaging presence around Children of all ages. Yours truly is one of their favorites. I care every child like my own. Children enjoyed my company and treat me as their close friend.

    I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration from India and has learned Child Development at De Anza College, Cupertino. In my leisure time, I explore new places and events with my husband.

    Ashoka Rani Katta

    I am Ashoka Rani Katta, earned my Masters in Pharmacy from India, year 2014 and Early Childhood Education from De Anza College, CA State in 2018. I have 18 Early Childhood Education units. I was an excellent student and absorbed a tremendous amount regarding modern educational theory to younger learners, a proclivity I have retained in my own study since graduation. I received a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, making me a professionally certified teacher for pre-primary learners.

    Furthermore, in my years as a preschool teacher at two different and high-quality establishments, I have led classes as large as 22 students and taught kids as young as 3 years old. I have been instrumental in helping my schools develop curriculum and programs for their classes, and seen real improvement in students I’ve worked with. For example, dance and drama program where I helped established. I was responsible for a 50% improvement in performances for our Pre-K students.

    Hilda Mendoza - Lead Teacher

    My name is Hilda Mendoza I speak two languages Spanish and English. I was born and raised in the U.S. I have been working with kids for 5 five years. Working in this field has been so rewarding, I learn something new every day. I’m very passionate about helping others especially kids. By helping them, they develop and grow as individuals.
    Going to school for child development has been a fun journey. I attended Mission college for 2 years for my child development units. These credentials are needed in this field and luckily finished the required units. Then, I decided to do something else too to help others. I went on to get my Medical Assistant degree. I worked in a pediatric office and I’m around with kids that made me very happy too. Since I’m so passionate with children I go back in teaching career where I belong now as full time Preschool Lead teacher where I can see smiles at kid’s faces every day in Tulip Kids Academy.

    Macrifel Domingo

    My name is Macrifel Domingo and you can call me Mac for short. I have been in this field for almost 16 years. I knew from the start, to be with young children is not that easy but being part of their learning development is the most precious reward. Every day I always look forward for the fun we will have to explore while learning.
    Before I started teaching here in California, I had the opportunity to teach basic computer for out of school youth children in my country. When I moved here in California, I earned my Certificate in medical AMA but my passion for teaching has a strong gravity. I continued taking classes at Mission College and received my teaching credentials in Early Child Education and working towards my degree. I am also a member of the Registry Department of Education.

    Kuldeep Kaur

    My name is Kuldeep Kaur Birang. At present, I’m in the Preschool classroom of Tulip as Teacher. I was encouraged by my director and tulip owner to enrolled in Child Development course. Time flies, I have enough units to be proud off as credentialed ECE. May of this year ‘till October, I was an assistant teacher of Two’s. I learned a lot from my experienced during my stayed at Jr. Preschool class. How to be successful one, having goal that leads me to be a mentor in 3’s class now. Tulip’s made me strong and independent from what I am now.
    I was born in INDIA and graduated from Rohilkhand University of Bareilly India. I completed my Master’s Degree in Political Science from the same University.

    Sangeeta Gupta - Lead Teacher

    My name is Sangeeta Gupta. I am a Pre-K teacher with over 15 years of experience in teaching. After obtaining my Masters in Fine Arts, and Masters in Education I explored my passion for teaching by volunteering at Elementary schools.
    My work experience in Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten settings has allowed me to understand the various duties of a preschool teacher. I constantly worked to establish a comfortable, educational and engaging environment for the students by conducting themed activities. My favorite part of the job is constant interaction with children, help, guide, supervise and watch them grow.
    Clear communication with parents, make them feel confident and informed about their child’s upcoming activities and their general education is my priority.
    I strive to use my experience and passion to make positive impact in the classroom and in your child’s life.

    Paramita Chowdhury

    My name is Paramita Chowdhury. I did my master in Linguistics, PhD in Hindustani (Indian) classical vocal music, received diploma in fine arts, dance and computer arts.

    My very first love in teaching started when I was in six grades. Along with my classmates and friends we do pretend classroom scenario, wherein of course I’m their teacher and it continues ‘till my teen age time. With this my passion in teaching came to reality.  Back home, in India, I’m a good player of badminton and volleyball.  I was chosen then to be in the National league since I was a good Athlete, I‘ve been a coach to others too.

    I have more than 22 years of experiences in teaching elementary and middle school students (India and USA). In my teaching career, my focus is love and creates opportunities for the children to become honest, confident and successful in their life. My creative teaching method helps the child to be a good human being in the community as well as the world. I am an expert in developing teams and individuals for I have the skills to do so.  I enjoy working with children and to my Pre-K parents too here at Tulip.

    Right now, my goal is to complete AA degree in child development course in De Anza college.
